The base shall have a large octagonal lower section designed with a curved cruciform shape. It shall taper into the shaft and gently transition into a flared top section. It shall be made of heavy wall, 356 alloy cast aluminum and be fully cast in one piece. It shall have a 1" thick floor cast as an integral part of the base.
