Fitter
Twist-Lock Fitter option allows for tool-less removal of acorn/globe with a 90 degree turn. Available on select fitters.
Lens
Clear or White textured acorn offered in dent resistant (DR) acrylic or UV stabilized polycarbonate material. An injection molding process adds a textured surface for glare mitigation.
Serviceability
Tool-less access to the driver compartment after the acorn is removed.
UL Listing
UL listed per UL1598 and CSA C22.2 No. 250.0 for the United States and Canada. Suitable for Wet Locations.
Electronic Driver
The UL recognized driver is installed integral to luminaire. The high efficiency Driver runs at 50/60HZ, utilizes 0-10V dimming protocol, and includes supplemental surge protection.
Finish
6 Stage Polyester Powder coat paint system.

Fixed Dimming Resistor Board (FDRB)
Optional numbered 10-step selector switch allows for fine adjustment of the light levels in the field from 25% to 100% of the original output.
Old world aesthetics with uniform and controlled illumination
The A840 VCOB Old Town acorn is offered with variety of fitter options. The medium scale textured acorn is offered in clear or white, in acrylic or poly material. The fixture is available in a solid roof (A840SR) for added distinction and reduced uplight.
