Glass Lens
Includes a prismatic molded borosilicate glass refractor that will hold its optical efficiency for the life of the product. External prisms distribute the light downward while offering glare mitigation.
Serviceability
Tool-less access to the driver compartment after the acorn is removed.
UL Listing
UL listed per UL1598 and CSA C22.2 No. 250.0 for the United States and Canada. Suitable for Wet Locations.
Electronic Driver
The UL recognized driver is installed integral to luminaire. The high efficiency Driver runs at 50/60HZ, utilizes 0-10V dimming protocol, and includes supplemental surge protection.

6 Stage Polyester Powder coat paint system.

Fixed Dimming Resistor Board (FDRB)
Optional numbered 10-step selector switch allows for fine adjustment of the light levels in the field from 25% to 100% of the original output.
Superior light distribution with added impact resistance
The G79LED Essex series is a superbly styled caged acorn luminaire which consists of a decorative cast aluminum fitter, cage, hinged solid roof and high efficiency prismatic glass refractor. It will be appointed with a cast aluminum decorative 4-vane finial.
