Sternberg's Dark Sky Compliant outdoor luminaires were engineered in our earliest LED designs. Sternberg made the decision to orient the light source to maximize shielding, paired with precision optics to minimize uplight and glare. This not only increased efficacy and delivered lumens on target, but protects the beauty of our night skies. Sternberg is highlighting our selection of NightSky® Friendly luminaires, each of which is U0 rated and available with color temperatures down to 2700K.
"Old Town" Algonquin, IL - Downtown Transformation
Video case study of Algonquin Illinois' revitalization of its "Old Town" main street district, on Rt 31 & Algonquin Road in Illinois. Strawberry Hill Retail, Charlotte NC
Strawberry Hill Retail Center in Charlotte NC, is a premier shopping center in the heart of one of Charlotte's most affluent south side neighborhoods. Strawberry Hill recently completed a $20 million redevelopment that utilized Sternberg in various applications for this expansive beautification project. A newly constructed Fresh Market store also opened last fall, replacing an older location in the complex.

The Colony TX, FM423 - 1970LED Gallery
Sternberg's Gallery GL1970 pendant luminaires were chosen for this expansive infrastructure project on FM 423 in The Colony of Denton County Texas. Hossley Lighting Associates worked with Denton County and the Texas Department of Transportation (TXDOT), who chose the GL1970 based on its superior performance and aesthetics.
Over 200 fixtures are installed along FM 423, creating a stunning wayfinding visual for this rapidly developing area. The Gallery has industry leading optical systems, available with a variety of options, including our SoftVueTM lens, glow rings and shades.
